Captured after five years of regular dedication going to one of the peaks in the Mt Rose wilderness, the panoramic photograph frames Lake Tahoe beneath an exploding pink sunset. The frosted trees accentuate the winter landscape. The ascent takes and advanced snowmobiler 45 minutes just from the parking lot, the summit is exposesd to high winds often making the ridge as thin as a knife edge. The descent is a mandatory ride home in darkness which turns the return journey into a thrilling adventure back to the trailhead. This reflects Nick's enduring passion for seeking out untouched corners of nature, navigating challenging and awe-inspiring terrain to capture those perfect moments through the lens.

The Gallery Mount is made from aluminum channels recessed in from the edge of the print by 1½". It floats your print off the wall by ¾" creating a very contemporary look. Materials: All art work is printed on Dye-infused aluminum ensuring the most vibrant and luminous photo prints imaginable.

Finish: Deciding which finish to order can be challenging. 99% of the time I recommend the glossy finish as it’s what truly makes the dye infused aluminum jump off of the wall. While gloss is used by the majority of our customers because of its extraordinary luminosity, if glare is a problem, then Satin or Matte could be a better choice. Learn More.
