Under the night sky's vast expanse, the Northern Lights cast an emerald glow, literally painting the sky. Framed by rugged peaks, this insane long exposure illuminates the alpine which is where SOMOS was filmed. Enduring 27 days on the glacier, Nick braved temperatures as cold as -30°F which ultimately lead to capturing this piece of art. Each clear night offered a chance to photograph the stars but only a few chances to capture the northern lights. Amidst the cold, Nick discovered peace and awe, thankful for the chance to witness such incredible sights with his own eyes and happy to bring it to your wall.

Mounting Info

The Gallery Mount is made from aluminum channels recessed in from the edge of the print by 1½". It floats your print off the wall by ¾" creating a very contemporary look. Materials: All art work is printed on Dye-infused aluminum ensuring the most vibrant and luminous photo prints imaginable.

Finish: Deciding which finish to order can be challenging. 99% of the time I recommend the glossy finish as it’s what truly makes the dye infused aluminum jump off of the wall. While gloss is used by the majority of our customers because of its extraordinary luminosity, if glare is a problem, then Satin or Matte could be a better choice. Learn More.
